Following Dr. Harrison’s retirement, we’re pleased to announce that a new team has taken over the management of Brooklands Medical Practice. We’re committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care where patients feel supported, listened to, and treated with kindness and respect.

Same-Day GP Appointments

As part of our commitment to improving your experience, we’re excited to introduce a same-day service for GP appointments. We have expanded the clinical team to offer more appointments each day. This allows us to plan our appointments and ensure that everyone who needs help can access it. Reception may sometimes direct you to other local services better suited to your needs, such as pharmacies, mental health support, physiotherapy, the red eye service or community care. All of these services can help with a wide range of problems.  Our team will guide you and ensure our advice is the best option for you at that time.

This change means you’ll be able to get the help you need more quickly. There might be times when we reach capacity for the day, and we’ll ask you to contact us on the next working day. We’ll be monitoring this closely and continuously adapting the service to minimise any inconvenience.

We know change can feel uncertain, and we appreciate your patience as we implement this change. Following your feedback, we’re working hard behind the scenes to make improvements that will benefit you in the weeks and months to come.

We also want to hear from you! We’ll soon be setting up a Patient Participation Group (PPG), giving you the chance to share your thoughts, help shape the future of the practice, and ensure our care continues to meet your needs.
