Dr Harrison joined the practice in 2004, having previously worked at a practice in Didsbury for 9 years. He enjoys all aspects of general practice.
He is also a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education.
He works at the surgery Mondays & Fridays.
Dr David Walshe

Dr Walshe is a salaried GP who joined the practice in 2019 and works at the practice on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
He is also employed by GoToDoc out of hours service.
Dr Heather Caulfield
MB BS MRCGP
Dr Caulfield is a salaried GP who joined the practice in 2007.
Her special interests include: women’s health, including family planning, postnatal care; child health, including Wednesday morning baby clinic.
She currently works Wednesday mornings (family planning services and baby clinic) and Thursday mornings.

Dr Farrington qualified from the University of Dundee in 1990.
Dr Farrington is a salaried GP at the practice covering Friday afternoon surgery.

Geraldine Jackson
Geraldine is our full time Practice Manager who oversees the practice finances and helps patients with any administrative or non-medical aspects of their health and treatment.
Meetings can be arranged with Geraldine and are by appointment only.

Claire is our full time supervisor, responsible for the smooth running of the practice and staff, IT problems and updates, the organisation of GP Clinics, rotas, annual leave, MDT Meetings and helps triaging online consults.

Our dedicated reception team are responsible for making appointments, dealing with requests for repeat medication and general enquiries.
Their aim is to help in the smooth running of the practice.
They have a busy and difficult job and act on the instructions of the doctors, so please be a ‘Patient Patient’.
All information given to them is treated in confidence and they are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.

Our Care Coordinator Vickie plays an important role in making sure you receive organised care. She can help connect you to services by working with various healthcare professionals such as GPs, Pharmacists, Nurses and Health and Wellbeing.

Karen summarises medical notes and letters. This provides healthcare professionals with an accurate, easily accessible electronic summary of a patient’s medical history. This could be crucial information in an emergency situation.
Medical Secretaries
Marie Simpson, Ethan Marsh and Tracey Doherty
Our Medical Secretaries work Monday to Friday, they deal with referrals/letters via dictation, email or tasks sent to them, organising baby clinics, emails from consultants and outside agencies. They are also responsible for coroners reports, insurance requests and DWP forms. They also respond to requests from solicitors and patients for medical records (Subject access requests (SARS).
First Contact Physiotherapists
Our First Contact Physiotherapists work the same way as any other physiotherapists in a face-to-face setting. They can diagnose and treat a wide range of muscle, joint and bone problems, aches and pains, assess your problem nd give expert advice on how best to manage your conditions and refer onto specialist services if necessary. They can also refer for x-rays
